So, I finally got my own website, and I actually got a domain name I really like.
The domain is the name of the street I grew up on, Genyth.
Its pronounced (jen ith).
To visit the site, go to http://www.genyth.com its a site I'm putting together with iweb, Can you say "sloppy code"?. Anyway, That's the whole site and the blog is moving there too! so you can keep looking here, but you won't find anything new. The site will include some photo albums and the blog, amoung other things. If you want just the blog... go to http://www.genyth.com/Delusions/Delusions.html

We Suck
I know, I know, if we are going to have a Blog we should actually post on it. Duly noted. So let me catch you up on a few things...
Rolling Thunder has been KICKING ASS!!!...up until last week that is. We had won something like 29 out of the last 30 games battling our way up to 4th place, only to lose 3 out of 4 games last week. We suck.
I am back at work in casting and in addition to working for Vicki I am also casting a project on my own. Check it out at . The film is called White Knuckles.
I am searching for a new commercial agent and have meetings with my first 2 choices next week so keep your fingers crossed.
That is pretty much it for now. TTFN

Who does this blog belong to anyway?
Since I tend to be a little busy these days, Anthony Gore subs again...Enjoy:
Greetings to all,
It was an incredible record setting night at Pickwick last night. Once again Rolling Thunder dominated their competition and swept the series 4-0, adding to an amazing run of 15-1 over the past four weeks.
Many records and highlights from the night include:
Congratulations to Matt Williams for a new personal high game, 243 and new personal high series, 573.
Matt also had the game 1 side action high game handicap and won $20.
Congratulations to TaatShing Hui for a new personal high series 539 (184, 188, 167)
Kudos to myself for rolling two deuces in same series for first time ever, 200 and 224 and for winning the side action high game scratch for $20. Marking the first time two Thunder Rollers took home the dough in the same week.
Also, everyone's averages jumped a full 2 points. The new averages are:
Taat: 143
Matt: 161
Ant: 178
See you next week,
AG

Greetings from Alaska!
Hello all. I am in the Alaska now for the fireworks season. Our stand is located in the lovely town of Hollis (pop. 150) on Prince of Whales Island. I would add links in this post, but I am in the local library (1 room filled with books) and I am on dial-up, so finding the links to post takes hours. The stand opened 3 days ago and so far so good. Cait and I unloaded the container ourselves (about 1,000 boxes... no joke). We are living in a camper with no phone, no toilet and no running water, but on the plus side we did pay to get a honey bucket and we do have electricity now (the first day we were out here we fried the electrical system because they wired our pole for 220 and the camper is 110), and we hade a phone at the stand, if anyone wants to call me they can get the number from Matt. We have also been experiencing a freak heat wave (Matt says it is global warming), it has been in the high 80's and low 90's for the last 6 days... not so hot to those of you who are in LA, but when you have no shower and no AC it can be a killer. I will try to post pictures soon, it really is beautiful. Peaceful and pristine. We drove 30 miles into town (Craig, AK) this morning to do some laundry and check our mail and we saw 8 deer on the way including a doe with twins that were so small they looked like puppies, and another doe who was nursing her fawn. Cait and I are hoping to get some fishing in, but we pretty much live at the stand. That is it for now. I will try to write again soon. Oh, I heard that Rolling Thunder won 3 last week... Way to go guys! TTFN, Carrie
PS I have 14 bug bites and counting, but Cait has me beat with 19.

A Dark Day for Rolling Thunder
It is with sadness and shame that I report that Rolling Thunder LOST ALL 4 this week. Quite the crappy send off for my last week with the team. Even copious amounts of bowling juice didn't seem to help (although I did win the woman's sidepot on the second game with a 161). Boys... I am counting on you to pull it together while I am gone.
This will probably be my last posting before I leave next week, but I will try to keep you all updated on the Fireworks and the trip. TTFN

Unimportant Update
It was quite a run for Rolling Thunder. In the last few weeks we moved rapidly up the ranks going from 17th place to a tie for 6th (although we probably dropped a few spots after taking only one of four last week). Hopefully the team can keep it up without me for the next few weeks.
I leave on the Fireworks trip next week. I will be in Washington state for 10 days, then up in Alaska until July 8th.
In other news I have parted ways with my commercial agent (ACME). Time to move on and get some more auditions. So when I get back I will be searching for a commercial agent, a voice over agent and a theatrical agent. Nothing like starting over. I actually recorded some VO last week with our friend and VO God Ray Van Ness Matt will be mixing it while I am gone so I will have a decent demo when I get back. Oh, if any of you hear my Jiffy Lube spot on the radio let me know, it is supposed to be playing, but I haven't heard it. "Hi, I'm Carrie and I'm a Personal Assistant."

Carrie's First Time
I have never been good at being a silent partner, so I figured it was time to add my voice to the blog.
Today I got my pre-order in to Thunder Fireworks . Our Stand, NORTHERN EXPLOSURE FIREWORKS (the largest in Southeast Alaska) will be open for business on June 10th! Hopefully Matt will survive without me. This Year NEF is under the ownership of Carrie, Cait and Chris! Go 3C's.
In other news, we kicked butt on Wed in bowling league (even without Taat). We swept all four games against the number 4 team in the league and should be moving up the ranks (last week we moved from 17th to 14th place). Way to roll some thunder guys. Props to Ant who saved our skins in game 2 helping is win by 1 point!

To make a long story short after just squeaking by with 1 win a night since we started... we took all 4 last week. I will let our scores speak for themselves. (dueces are in BOLD)
Carrie: handicap-126 Game 1-146 Game 2-149 Game 3-140
Taat: handicap-118 Game 1-136 Game 2-203 Game 3-144
Matt: handicap-167 Game 1-170 Game 2-211 Game 3-172

p.s. 1007 was our team score in the second game with our handicaps.

What a Month
well, the newest job started a couple of weeks ago, and man is it tiring. Long hours, a few bumps in the road, but I finally think we're up and running pretty smoothly now. Some cool technologies are helping us along. We're able to screen cuts across Ichat with Apple's H.264 codec. The codec keeps the file size managable, while preserving a decent quality, and given that Ichat is so easy to use (with no file size restriction), we've got a great solution to a quick turn around time.
The bowling team is hanging in there.. we haven't been completely swept yet... we're hanging on to at least one game per week. I think our averages should average out soon, and let us roll some serious thunder. I personally had my best series last week with a 181,a 183, and a 204. (go me!)
More fun news includes Carrie's fireworks trip coming up soon, let's just hope the house doesn't burn down while she's gone, and that I manage to find a way to feed myself (although, I'm pretty sure I will be a shell of the man she leaves). Another trip on the horizon soon will be to see Andrea graduate. How wicked awesome is that gonna be!!!
Well, that's all for now gotta run my wife was kind enough to not make me watch "My Best Friend's Wedding" but its over now.. so I get to spend a little quality time with my beautiful wife. adios.

Damn that Mercury!
So while I have to honestly say, that I don't put a tremendous amount of stock into astrology, Never before have I felt the awesomely frightful power that is mercury in retrograde. This crappy planet has really tortured me today, with its miss labeling of fiber and destruction of simple copper cables. I mean it really makes one's job difficult when nothing works.... Through no ones fault but some damn planet and its jacked up orbit in relationship to what another jacked up planet's orbit. I mean come on already I get it. Mercury will f your shit up. If I believe will you stop it already... I've got work to do, and beauty rest to get, not to mention poor little Sammy... his daddy needs some sleep too. If not for me, then come on mercury, think of the children!!!!
Side note: I saw 2 movies this weekend, "V for Vendetta": a sledge hammer over the head, but for any jackass who claims it glorifies terrorism.... a sledge hammer over the head is what you deserve.
also saw "Good Night, and Good Luck" great film, I don't think I've ever seen a better example of pace, power, and poignancy.

Rolling Thunder: brought to you by J/KAM Digital
It was an exciting night at Pickwick Gardens last night! Because we rolled until almost 1 AM? No. Because yours truly rolled a 104 followed by my first clean game ever (a 215)? No. Was it because some jerk off sub on another team got thrown out after causing a scene; only to wait around long enough in the parking lot to have the cops called? Nope not that either.
It was exciting because the whole team was there! On top of the fact the last week while we thought we had been shut out... we took 2. That's right, 2 games.
Will we be as lucky this week? I don't think so. We're pretty sure we took 1 game but also pretty sure we lost the other 2 and the series.
Here are some pics of the team. Enjoy.

Shout Out!
We'd like to say thank you to everyone who came out to support Carrie at her show.
Okay so really that's Emily, Andy, and Kimberly Irion. So again, thank you guys. For the uninformed.... Carrie just finished her run of "The Lottery" at IO West. The Lottery is a show performed on Monday nights, they randomly pull a name from each Level of classes that they are teaching. Carrie was there representing Level 1, and in my humble opinion did a pretty kick ass job. (or as Carlos Mencia would say "yob"... man, that carlos is funny.)
Tonight is Rolling Thunder. We are looking forward to having the whole team there, and seeing the results of last week. I'll post those results after I get them.
Also, really begining to look forward to John/Sonny/Pibb 's return from Japan. (or as Carlos Mencia would say "Yapan"... cracks me up every time) You can catch up on John's Adventures and the current countdown in his journal.
One more time... thanks to Andy, Q and Kim.... you guys rock!

HOLY FREAKING CRAP!!
I just had my first flight lesson.... and let me just say... HOLY FREAKING CRAP!!!!!
that was one of the most incredibly awesome things I have ever done!
That's the good news...
the bad news is that I have just found yet another expensive hobby. oops! Only this time I get to blame Carrie... she paid for the introductory lesson. THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH honey!
So the lesson went like this....
I showed up early and got to chat with Alan the owner of Aero Aviation out of the Long Beach airport. Hal is a member of the Long Beach Police Department: awesome dude, very friendly, he let me pick his brain for almost a 1/2 hour with what I'm sure are some of the most repeated questions about flying ever... He seemed to have all the answers.
Then the real action began.
Johan, was the instructor we went through the whole preflight checklist together, checking this and that, and I was really able to get a feel for the plane and its parts, but more importantly the minutiae that I'll need to know.
So I had the headset on got the listen to the communication between, us and the tower (I must say that most of it sounded like a foreign language mostly because there was so much to take in, or maybe because Johan is from Norway... j/k Johan). We pulled onto the runway and away we went. I got to do the take off and steer most of the time. We flew around in what Johan called a training are out over the "Queen Mary" and long beach harbor. We flew for about half an hour doing turns, and the such, Johan demonstrated a negative G (that was so much cooler than a roller coaster), before we finally headed back. We came around made the approached and landed. I'm still so excited I can't type much more... The words don't do it justice.
So since a picture is worth a thousand words here are a few
This is me with the plane I just flew.
Notice the HUGE grin on my face.
Johan and me flying the plane
I'd like to say I was flying at this exact moment
but it was Johan... Someone had to take the picture.
Here is the view out the left side of the plane
looking back at Long Beach.
Here is my instructor, Johan.
Awesome dude, he's from Norway.
BTW I keep referring to him as "Johan"
that's what's on his business card, but
on the phone he called himself Joe. So,
Johan, since I'm sending you the link to this...
let me know if you prefer "Joe" and I'll update.
Well, that's all for now I'll update more of my flying adventures, once my show starts up,
and I get a paycheck, so that I can formally begin my flight training!

Rolling Thunder
Our bowling team had its first night of rolling thunder last Wednesday at Pickwick bowling center. We would like to welcome Taat. Good rolling Wednesday night Taat. Also, a great big THANK YOU to JKAM Digital for sponsoring us and providing us with kick ass shirts. We intend to carry the JKAM Logo to victory (or at least back from the bar).
The Painfully Obvious Posting of a Lunatic
Greetings all,
This will be the inaugural post of my blog to come. Topics I hope to include will be the progress of our bowling team, my personal golf progress, general news, musings of mine and Carrie's careers (in so far as our contracts will allow), and other what some might consider interesting events in our lives.
For example, the flight lesson I'm supposed to take tomorrow. (Thanks Carrie, for the awesome V-Day gift) And so on and so forth.
enjoy.
